Children’s Programs

School day programs are aimed at preparing the learner for classroom setting. Initial behavioural/skill and developmental assessments are conducted to understand deficits and create an individualized service education plan. Treatment is approached using a transdisciplinary approach with the expertise of an OT and SLP so your child’s needs within all developmental domains are met.

The program follows a school like schedule with learners transitioning to different classrooms and following instructions in a group setting.School programs are offered in a 2 children to 1 staff ratio and is supervised by the Senior ABA Therapist and the BCBA. Core skills that are needed in the classroom are addressed such as expressive and receptive language, academic, cognitive and social domains.

All school programs are offered either as part time or full time from Monday to Friday.

The After School program focuses on adaptive life skills, academic skills and group learning skills and will be offered three days a week for learners of school going age (Age 4-21). Initial behavioral skills assessments are conducted to identify areas that need to be addressed and to create an individualized service education plan. The plan addresses individual goals within the developmental domains that will be addressed in a group setting.

The Tutoring program focuses on academic and homework confidence. Our team is determined to create a unique and motivating environment for learners. The program is offered for learners from Grade 1 to Grade 12 in Math, English, Social Studies, and Science. Goals will be based on individual needs with the Ontario Ministry of Education’s curriculum. Sessions will be held after school hours from 4-6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.​
